I recently called the 56th and Pine Lake Campbell's concerning a tree we bought from them two years ago. We had a person from another respected tree service out to look at it and he said it was simply a "bad tree" and to contact Campbell's because they work well with you. My experience with a certain "expert" at 56th and Pine Lake was not good. Rude, dismissive of my concerns, dismissive of the other expert who was on site, interrupted. Escalated the conversation. I am glad there are other places to go for service and trees as Campbell's is a place I will never return to. Terrible customer service.

Rude & condescending staff (why do they think they are better than everyone?! Bro you work a plant store chill out) Plant selection is mid at best, pricing is way too high for the quality of plant. 0/10 recommend.

We always came to Campbell’s because we knew the quality of the plants were good and we were covered by a one year warranty. We may have made our last visit there today. After selecting two plants coming into a total of $250, I was asked at the register if we wanted a warranty. I was told that no longer is a warranty included and that if we wanted to warranty the plants we just purchased, It would cost us an extra $65. This is absolutely ridiculous, considering the price of the plants to begin with. I was told that this is better for the consumer because they were able to lower their prices because people didn’t use their warranty anyway. Yeah right, what a crock. You did this for us. It’s t just another way for Campbell’s to extort more money out of a consumer? Earl May still offers a one year warranty and extends it to two years if you purchase some plant starter. Even Costco, Menards, etc. offers one year warranties with the plants that they sell. The Campbell family should reconsider this poor practice not including the warranty. What next charge is 3% for using a credit card like they do it some restaurants around town now.

Visited on a rainy Saturday afternoon so it was very quiet and the outdoor trees looked a little sad. However, the plants in the greenhouse looked so lush and happy, and we left with some orchid pots. There is also the sweetest lil' black cat named Munchkin who came to greet me and made my day. 🐈‍⬛

Talked to Tim the other day about a Gatsby Star Oak Leaf Hydrangea I purchased last fall. It is now in bloom and is instead a Gatsby Gal- it was mislabeled. I asked if I could bring in the plant in its original pot along with the receipt so he could remedy mistake they made but he told me not to bother as there was nothing he was willing to do for me. I was contacted last night by Cassie after reading my original post and she apologized for the way the situation was handled. She assured me that was not the quality of service that Campbells would approve of. She is replacing the mislabeled hydrangea I purchased with the correct one today. Thank you Campbells and Cassie for taking the time to listen to me and for making this right.
